The smartphone aimed at photography enthusiasts is inspired by vintage Kodak cameras. It has a faux leather back with a large lens ring and a small grip on the bottom. The phone looks like a digital camera when kept face down. The smartphone also comes with a dedicated camera button on the side which adds to the overall unique appearance.
The camera on the phone has a 21MP sensor with optical image stabilisation while the front has an 13MP shooter. Specifications include a 5-inch full HD display, Helio X20 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and a 3,000mAh battery.
Anyone who has seen the Infinity edge display on Samsung’s current flagship devices would appreciate the beauty. Both phones have a dual curved screen with super amoled panel for colours that pop out. The S8 has a 5.8-inch display while the S8+ has 6.2-inch—both with resolution of 2,960 x 1,440 pixels. They are powered by octacore Exynos processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and a 3,000mAh battery (3,500mAh on S8+). Both feature 12MP cameras with f1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation along with an 8MP front camera with f1.7 aperture for low light.
MI MAX 2
While the Mi Max 2’s overall design is generic with an all metal unibody, its size is what makes it unique. It is the only phone with a 6.44-inch display in a sleek body. The screen makes a smartphone with a 5.5-inch display appear small. Add the 2.5D curved glass over the display and you get a large-screen premium looking smartphone that is a conversation starter.
Hardware specifications include Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storge and a massive 5,300mAh battery. You also get 12MP rear camera with phase detection, 5MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, USB type-C port, 4G with VoLTE and IR blaster.
